Through my project "Still call it a Fate? ," I aimed to expose the troubling issue of discarding female infants and abandoning mothers in certain societies. Using powerful visuals, I captured the emotional turmoil experienced by these women, forced to part with their newborn daughters due to cultural biases and societal pressures. By depicting the heart-wrenching moments of isolation, ostracisation, and abandonment, I sought to evoke empathy, raise awareness, and encourage conversations that challenge prevailing mindsets, promoting a more compassionate and inclusive society.
